What kind of training is required to become a Security Forces specialist in the U.S. Air Force? Listen to Airmen who have graduated from the training pipeline explain the physical and academic challenges you can expect as well as offer advice on how to succeed in the program.
I'm interested in joining the Air National Guard and would love to be in Security Forces. What is Security Forces like in the Air National Guard?
Leaving for this next month. Can't wait
Yeah they need to update this. Almost completely different now.
I want to serve in the military and I am really interested in doing airfoce security forces, how hard is it to get in? Do I have to make an appointment with a recruiter or just go the the offices or what is the process?
This looks like so much fun omg im into all of this stuff
USAF Security Forces Job sounds pretty boring. You could spend 10 years, and never have a single in incident. Then one day some crazy SOB gets on base, and starts shooting people. Keep your head in the game guys and girls.
This is what I want to do after highschool. This will definitely help me out when I come back to the civilian life.
Jesus Christ, Space Force. 🤦♂️
What subjects should you study most of for security forces?
My mom and dad both served in the air force doing this. I'm meeting with a recruiter today and this is what I hope to do.
hung up on deadly force? Must not have spoken to Infantrymen i see
I see everyone complaining about how they just scan id cards but so what? You get paid, can get free college, free healthcare, if you do it long enough you can get pension, all for working a few weeks and weekends a year scanning ids and you get military training
Its not a pipeline. The tech school is just extended BMT.
My advice if you want to become law enforcement there is definitely better ways to do it. Do not settle for security forces unless you really interested in working LE or security. There’s a lot of people that are miserable in this career field because it’s not what they thought it would be. Which I see what they mean but I’d definitely look at other options or do more research and see if you’d really like it. I hate seeing new airman be so miserable in the job and not like their job because at the end of the day It hurts the career field. I’m speaking of active duty experience btw
DANG....There are females in Security....we didn't have them in Security "Back in the Day"!!
I washed out of EOD & got reclassed to security forces fml
Two of the key things in Tech School, is to not be afraid to ask questions, and time management when you’re out of class, set up a routine of study every night after class, don’t get caught up in the new freedoms you have after class, and if you’re having difficulty during a segment of the training admit it and ask for help. If you can do that you will proudly become a Defender of The Force.
Went through it. I'm civilian law enforcement full time and do this. For anyone with questions I'm here to help. This academy you should know is federally accredited which is huge! I'm here for any questions and wish I went in earlier. By the way. 38 year old Warhawk so If you think you can't do it, think again!!
I love the comments roasting 😂😂
