This fraud was all over the place. I remember first hearing about it in 2008. It broke down. But a lot of the information I didn't get at the time. Not until Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer put out Body of Lies or whatever it was called. He ruined his family too. One of those in his family committed suicide. I don't know how much each knew but I feel the family had to know something.

Nobody (specifically the feeder investors) knew what was going on, nobody wanted to know what was going on……they were all suspicious but they never really asked questions or pushed the issue…why? Because they were all greedy and as long as the money kept coming in they weren’t going to rock the boat. And Madoff knew this.
