I found that resting the batter helps eliminate air bubbles which results in a more even and consistent cake. Tools Used: 1. 6" Cake Pans: 🤍amzn.to/2WIC6xk 2. 8" Cake Pans: 🤍amzn.to/3hm5Acc 3. how long would you put it in if it were for cupcakes?
Fantastic! This is my new go to basic cake. It taste heavenly, and fun to make. I did have to make couple of adjustments because of my altitude, as usual. Thank you.
Hi, I baked this cake today and followed everything accordingly but the texture of the cake was very dough like and the cake was full of air bubbles even though I tapped it before baking and left it to rest for 20 minutes . Do you perhaps know where I went wrong?
Would using all-purpose flour affect the end result?
No butter?
Finally found a recipe that uses cake flour n not all purpose. Will try this soon thanks 😊
Do you absolutely need to use the towels on the pans, or it’s optional?

Can I make cupcakes with this recipe?
I made this, followed every step, even measured the flour by grams, but it was not a cake like texture. It was hard and looked like pudding 😭
Why in the fridge? 30 min before baking? Thank you
how much ghee can i use instead of oil??
Is there a reason why people alternative by putting batches of the dry ingredients and wet ingredients at a time?
I had 7 eggs , they would expire the next day, I searched on You Tube and found you, I have a Kitchen Aid mixer, I used 5 full eggs but added 2 egg whites, the rest of the measures are basically the same, except the sugar I used less sugar. During the process the mixer was on full blast, I slow it down only when I am adding flour , then run it a bit until the powder is gone and put it on full blast, even after the cake was ready, I kept the beater going, until I had enough, I poured it in the mould 9", I had high papers on the side, I did not know if it would go high and sure enough the cake looked exactly like the cake in the link here : 85wvDjoXD9I&ab_channel=Leckerschnell 85wvDjoXD9I&ab_channel=Leckerschnell , go directly to 9wr8an7mjlc&t=3m10s 3:10 , the cake was shinny and had a nice dome not flat and very tasty, my wife did not believe I made it. Thanks for most of the recipe. I did not respect any number of minutes, I kept the beater going, I figured I would throw it in the garbage if it was not good.
