Dr. H S Chandrika | Appointment booking number: 9110865951 Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist | Charma Chirag Hospital J P Nagar Phase 2, Bangalore Foul smelling discharge from vagina, it is one thing that is socially also it will not be nice and patient will also feel bad and it is seen in a very badly infected pelvis but there can be very bad infections like Chlamydia and gonorrhea. So you need not judge yourself depending on the smell of your discharge. So any smell it is recommended you to meet your gynecologist and they can find the cause of it and take care of it because sometimes physiological discharge in excess can also cause this and there is nothing to worry but if it is very much troubling you because of the excessive discharge, then we handle it in a different way. So a foul smelling discharge from vagina is a bad infection of the pelvis. So depending on the smell, and the examination findings the gynecologist will give proper needed treatment. So foul smelling discharge, most of the times it is due to bad vaginal infection. #expertskisuno #healthyvagina #vaginalodour #womenshealth #yeastinfection #cleanvagina #selfcare #womenhealth #vaginalhealth #healthylifestyle #vaginawash #femininewash #vaginalcare

Do you suffer from bad breath? Which are the causes and treatment? Video 3d from Clínica Médico Dental Pardiñas (🤍 about halitosis or bad breath. Halitosis is a common condition that affects 25% of the general population. It has a great social impact. Most patients are ashamed and affect their daily lives. Halitosis can have multiple causes, being those of intraoral origin the most common. In about 85% of all cases of halitosis the problem is in the mouth, with gingivitis, periodontitis and saburral tongue (accumulation of whitish substance on the back of the mouth) as the main causes . The tongue has the highest amount of bacterial load than any oral tissue and makes the greatest contribution to the total number of bacteria present in saliva. Microbial degradation in the oral cavity is the main cause of bad odor. Due to this process, volatile sulfur compounds are formed. These compounds are mainly produced by anaerobic bacteria present in the mouth. Poor oral hygiene, presence of plaque, decay, accumulation and putrefaction of food remains and poorly sanitized prostheses contribute to this microbial degradation and therefore bad breath. Peri-implantitis (infection of an implant), pericoronitis (typical infection around a wisdom tooth), recurrent oral ulcerations, and herpetic gingivitis are also described as causing bad breath. Morning bad breath: It is not proper halitosis but is a temporary physiological state. This is due to the decreased production of saliva during the night, which increases the formation of anaerobic bacteria causing the typical morning bad breath. The problem disappears as soon as routine hygiene measures are taken. Treatment and recommendations In most cases halitosis can be treated by maintaining correct dental and lingual hygiene (through the use of tongue scrapers) and with the use of antiseptic mouth rinses such as chlorhexidine. Chlorhexidine is the most effective product against plaque. For treating halitosis is important to make a correct diagnosis of the origin of bad breath. To carry out a breath study, samples of bacteria, saliva and breath (expired air) are collected, as well as personal medical data that could have an influence on a pathology that leads to halitosis. These samples are analyzed using different technologies that will let the doctor know the type of existing bacteria and the origin of the bad breath. Based on these results, the specialist will prepare a treatment plan that may include the use of different drugs, and in the cases where necessary, a dental treatment or complementary surgery (rhinosinusal, tonsillar, gastric, etc). It is recommended to visit your periodontist for check ups and eventual treatment. Dr. Nischal K| Appointment booking no: 080 2338 0138 Consultant Dermatologist & Dermatopathologist | Nirmal Skin & Hair Clinic, Vijayanagar,Bangalore We have various types of glands and among them apocrine glands are not very active, they are very rudimentary. However as a variation some individuals have prominent apocrine glands and hence the secretions form these glands hey give little bit of odour. Next thing is the bacterial accumulation of the sweat. Whenever there is excessive sweat, in some individuals it is degraded into products and it gives rise to smell. So in these instances the smell can be there even after bath. Third is there are metabolic disorders where there are some points that are not metabolized in our body before they are being thrown up. There are many metabolites that are being excreted, so this incompletely metabolized products when they are removed though the sweat, it gives rise to body odor. So whenever there is body odor, one should check for mainly family history, because many at times these genetic disorders run in families and they need a complete work up with a genetic counseling. If it is smell that happens on an often, especially in summer, because of the sweat, the sweat can be effectively reduced. So one more thing is take bath daily two times so that you reduce the bacterial load of the skin and wear cotton clothes and you can use some solutions that reduce the sweat and clindmaycisn solution that reduce the bacterial load. So by doing that it will reduce the bacterial load that happens because of excessive sweat. If you start taking bath twice. Whenever apocrine secretion are accumulated that also salts coming down. Beyond that also what smell comes down needs a workup. So check for genetic metabolic disorders. #ExcessiveBodySweating #StinkingUnderarms #SweatingArmpit

Bad breath or foul-smell breath (cacosmia) has many causes. The sources may originate from the nose, mouth, lungs, or even digestive tract. Sinusitis is among the commonest nasal causes which may remain undetected for a long time. As our smell sensation adapts easily, the persons affected may not notice the bad smell until being told by someone's in close proximity. Underlying malignancy and fungal infection needs to be ruled out. Endoscopic sinus surgery was performed and healed nicely.

Video Link: 🤍 MOUTHWASH AND TOOTHPASTE INGREDIENTS: Antibacterial agents that are included in mouthwashes and toothpastes include cetylpyridinium chloride, chlorhexidine, hexetidine, hydrogen peroxide, triclosan and zinc. Please note Chlorhexidine mouthwash causes brown staining on the surface of teeth if used for 4 weeks or longer. This is a type of staining that comes off after scaling and polishing by a dental professional. For more information on this mouthwash please read the information leaflet and speak to your pharmacist. Given the wide variation in products, the choice of preparation will depend on individual preference and product tolerability. However: Of toothpastes, the majority of studies providing evidence for an effect on halitosis have involved those containing triclosan.
