Death On The Nile Will NOT Be Premiered.... Here's The REAL Reason Why! Welcome back to Film Recaps, today on the channel we are going to talk about The Real Reason Kenneth Branagh Is Unsure Whether Death On The Nile Will Get A Release…+ other death on the Nile news. Director Kenneth Branagh's "Murder on the Orient Express" was one of the most surprising hit movies of 2017. These days, a remake of a film based on an Agatha Christie novel doesn't exactly seem guaranteed for box office success the same way superhero or comic book movies do. However, with a star-studded cast that included Branagh himself as Detective Hercule Poirot, the film lit up the box office with a worldwide gross of around $352 million. "Death on the Nile" completed production in 2019, but in the time since then, multiple sexual abuse allegations have been levied against star Armie Hammer. In the wake of these allegations, Hammer has departed from several different productions, including Paramount+'s upcoming limited series, "The Offer," and the romantic comedy film "Shotgun Wedding". While doing a recent interview with Variety for his upcoming, semi-autobiographical film, "Belfast," director Kenneth Branagh was asked about the allegations against Hammer. He responded by saying, "What's gone on there is a personal and private matter of which I have no knowledge and of which I think is going through a process which has to be respected. Those very serious issues are being dealt with seriously." Meanwhile, The Best Agatha Christie Adaptations To Watch Before Death On The Nile. Death On the Nile will soon become the latest Agatha Christie adaptation to hit the screen. It is the second Branagh-directed movie based on a Christie novel, following in the footsteps of 2017's Murder on the Orient Express. Death on the Nile is one of Christie's most acclaimed stories, and with a talented ensemble cast signed up, expectations are high for the movie's February release. Herculay poy-rot?
Me: “Wow a whole lot of people sure are mad about this guy’s pronunciation. He probably just says it Her-cule Pew-row a bunch.”
Him: “Her-cule Poin-rot.”
Me:
It looks awful. Why even try when David S has already made it perfectly.
So who was fxcking trash..? 🙄 click bait looking azz
movie was awesome 10/10
Why'd they have to do Bouc like that?
It’s an awful film. They should have stuck to the book. Every deviation from the book only made it worse. The race swapping is ridiculous, Russel Brand is a hack, and Wonder Woman can’t act. Seems like the Hollywood contagion is spreading to the UK.
And the Brits used to be so good at Agatha Christie adaptations! The film was shockingly bad.
Couldn't get past a few minutes because of Gal Gadots lazy acting and inability to curb her accent when playing a British woman.
Fortunately, "Death on the NIle," the Kenneth Branagh version, has been released and I saw it. It was okay. Doesn't hold a candle to the David Suchet version and the Peter Ustinov version. But it was entertaining, although disturbingly kow-towing to the "woke" culturalists. It seems the 21st century and subsequent centuries, things will get worse, with both conservatives and liberals (for lack of a better political description) getting more and more obsessed with being PC/cancel culture/tippy-toe idiots.
Bran ahhhh not ow
OMG Hercule Pwayrot? This is embarassing for the 2.55k subscribers,
If you are going to butcher actor and character names, I suggest you be consistent with the title pronunciation as well. The film is "Dee-ath on the Ny-lee" and it was distributed by Two Zeroth Centowree Stew Dios.
A three and a half minute video stretched to over 8 minutes! And would someone please explain to me why it is almost always people with obnoxiously unpleasant speaking voices who insist on doing these videos? Then there's the thumbnail headline: " she was a f*cking trash." Huh?
Sadly the movie was completely outrageous, horrible, utterly lacking in subtlety and authenticity
damn dude.. learn how to pronounce the names.....
Well, the movie got released but had it not it wouldn't be a disaster as it isn't worth the time. Better to go to Netflix and rent the earlier version with Ustinov.
on the next second of the video, ill ask a question then tell you "you'll find out next": did you find out next? well find out next
Great video.... So basically you're saying I should decide on whether I want to see a movie or not based on Johnny Depp's behavior.. got it
The court of public opinion can be bs too but no one cares. KBs Poirot is so ridiculous but I’ll probably watch it anyway.
