See I watched this as a kid and wished at least the last scene would end in her blasting herself lol, damn they showed in 1978 didn't they?!?!?!
Came here after watching the new one, it's a bit different from this and the book but is excellent. Like I said (spoilers!!!!!****) I wish the new one had ended with her popping him then doing herself, idk why I guess cause the actress in this original movie annoyed tf out of me LOL

The real star was Mia. I only knew her through her personal life. This was the only work of hers that I had watched. Angela and the other big wigs had nothing on Mia. Mia stole the show.

This cast had the best love triangle. Mia Farrow is the best Jackie of them all. She captures the psychology of the chatacter the best. I listen to the audio book and I always see her as Jackie.

Simon MacCorkindale captures the true Simon Doyle. He is aristocratic, goal orientated, and arrogant.

Lois Chiles captures Linette the best. Only complaint is that Linette is a Blonde in the book. Can't have them all.

👉Villains always forget they have the right to remain SILENT! They have
right to a lawyer! In fact there is a lawyer in the room whom I am sure would
love to negotiate with Linette's husband over her estate as a trade for
getting them off the hook... but no... they just spill their guts!! LOL!!
